Diversified is seeking a skilled Welder in Waxahachie.

• Fri Pay:

  $20
• 24/hr This position creates, fabricates, and prepares welded structures for the mounting and manufacturing of commercial refrigeration remote condensing units.

Their responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Reading blueprints: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding project specifications.

Preparing materials:

Select materials according to the blueprints. Using the bandsaw, cut the materials to length. Prepare the metal surfaces for welding.

Setting up the equipment:

Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition and set up welding machines.

Welding:

Able to perform MIG welding on structural steel of varying sizes and shapes while keeping to the 1/16" tolerance. Able to control warpage without putting too much heat in one spot.

Inspecting welds:

Ensure the welds meet quality and compliance specifications for strength and integrity.

Grinding and finishing:

Able to grind and polish welds before blasting is performed to ensure a smooth surface.

Following safety protocols:

Wear appropriate protective gear Collaborating with others: Work as part of a team to complete projects on time and troubleshoot issues.

Maintaining a clean work area:

Keep the work area clean and organized.
