This position would have responsibility to perform repairs on jigs and fixtures, help team members complete Daily Kaizen / improvement projects, work in L2L (maintenance ticketing system: Leading to Lean), and provide support to all value streams / cost centers.
Job Duties:
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on jigs and fixtures (PM- L2L) Ability to read prints to repair jigs to naturel state. Inspecting and testing finished work to ensure it conforms to specifications. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain correct records of work performed. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Assist in training team members as needed. Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Good work ethic: Reliable, dedicated, productive, cooperative, and self-disciplined. Physically able to stand and work on feet for extended periods of time. Ability to weld steel and aluminum preferred. Previous manufacturing experience Proficient in using hand tools and reading prints. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Intermediate computer skills for record keeping: Leading to Lean, and email. Strong record of completing tasks on time. Good communication skills, both written and oral.
