Job Description

Entry-Level Production Welder / Fabricator Job Summary We are looking for a dependable and motivated Entry-Level Production Welder / Fabricator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in welding and fabrication and wants to build their skills in a hands-on production environment. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, takes pride in their work, and can follow instructions and safety procedures. Previous welding or fabrication experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities Assist with welding and fabrication of metal components and assemblies. Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials. Learn to read and follow basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, saws, drills, and other shop equipment. Perform basic grinding, deburring, and finishing of welded parts. Inspect work for proper fit, appearance, and quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE. Ask questions and seek guidance when needed. Work with experienced welders and fabricators to develop welding and fabrication skills. Meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Willingness to learn welding and fabrication skills. No previous welding experience required. Basic ability to read a tape measure and understand measurements. Comfortable working with hand and power tools. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Good attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and willing to work hard. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Commitment to working safely. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Previous shop, construction, manufacturing, or mechanical experience. High school or vocational welding experience. Basic MIG welding experience. Familiarity with common hand and power tools. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials as required. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work in various positions. Ability to work safely around welding equipment, tools, noise, heat, sparks, and dust. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and welding protection. What We Offer On-the-job welding and fabrication training. Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
