Job Description
Shop Mechanic Allan Myers United States, Virginia, Williamsburg Aug 13, 2026
Responsibilities The primary objective of equipment maintenance is the repair and up-keep of production equipment; making sure to keep it in a safe, effective operating condition so that production and quality targets can be met on time and at cost. Develop quick and accurate communication with field personnel.
Assure quality of repairs to minimize recall/duplicate work.
Assure compliance with all governmental and company safety polices.
Comply with Human Resources policies.
Review shop tool requirements to do work more efficiently.
Observe and report any deficiencies to forward our PM program for effectiveness and possible additions to our program.
Work closely with our Small Tools Manager and our parts personnel to assure on time delivery of parts.
This position will be hourly and require overtime as needed.
Must have sufficient tools to do the job. The company does not provide industry Standard Tools.
Pickup Truck must be kept clean and orderly.
Responsible for staying within HOS (hours of service), if applicable
Responsible for complying with all Trimble/Telogis regulations.
