2nd Shift Welder Opportunity! Are you an experienced welder looking to join a stable, growing manufacturer known for producing high-quality industrial products? We are seeking skilled
GTAW/GMAW
Welders to become part of a team focused on craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement. This is a second shift role located at our site near Winooski, VT.Qualifications:
5+ years of GTAW or GMAW welding experience preferred. High school diploma or GED. Strong TIG and MIG welding skills. Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols. Understanding of basic metallurgy and sheet metal fabrication. Basic math skills, including arithmetic and geometry. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to producing quality work while meeting production goals. U.S. citizen or green card holder.Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding on stainless steel and carbon steel components. Set up workstations and verify materials before beginning production. Read and interpret engineering drawings, cut sheets, and weld symbols. Weld in multiple positions on various material thicknesses while maintaining quality standards. Troubleshoot welding equipment as needed. Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet production and quality specifications. Follow all OSHA, environmental, and company safety procedures. Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned by the production leadership team.Compensation:
Starting pay of $28-$34/hour, up to 15% shift premium.
