For over 40 years Travis Industries has been designing and building industry leading award winning hearth heating appliances. We are the largest privately held wood, gas, and pellet stove, insert, and fireplace company in America encompassing multiple brands; Fireplace Xtrodinair, DaVinci Custom Fireplaces, Lopi, and Tempest Torch. Our products are all built in the "House of Fire", our Mukilteo Washington facility encompassing over 11 acres of manufacturing under one roof. Multiple Welding Positions Available! These welding positions are available in a fast paced, clean and safe production environment. Shift is 6:12am - 2:42pm Monday - Friday with 40 hours a week and the potential for overtime. Job Description Ability to weld mild steel in flat and vertical applications. Welder responsible for using provided fixtures and jigs to weld various light assemblies. Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. This position requires a respirator to be worn during the shift. Accountable for QC of their produced parts, ability to understand and follow basic instructions critical. Quality work habits and good attendance are keys to success in this position. Advancement opportunities for employees who bring their "A" effort daily. Qualifications Proficiency in MIG welding Previous experience in repetitive production environment a plus Knowledge of welding safety procedures Ability to work with power and hand tools Strong attention to detail Candidates must pass a basic weld test and should provide own hood. Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand 8 hours a day, be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be eligible to work in the United States.
