Our success is based on the quality of our products as well as the excellent customer service we provide. About the role We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder position handles Highland Refrigeration's needs for fabrication/welding of pipes and fittings. Duties Responsible for the layout and fabrication/welding of pipe and fittings. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead). Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Maintains a clean job site:

picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed, brings problems to the attention of the Safety Director. Maintain a neat and clean appearance and motivated, positive attitude. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. SMAW-1 or GTAW-4 Welding Certification. Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred. Ability to lift and carry heavy items for extended periods of time. Effective communication skills.
