Job Description
1st Shift MIG Welder Ephrata, PA | $20-$23/hr+ (DOE) | Overtime Available Join a growing team that builds custom dust collection and ventilation systems for major manufacturing facilities. We're looking for a skilled MIG Welder who enjoys hands-on fabrication, working with custom projects, and being part of a collaborative shop environment. This is a great opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.
What You'll Do:
Perform MIG welding on custom-built ductwork and ventilation components using thin-gauge carbon steel, galvanized steel, and stainless steel. Read and interpret blueprints to complete layouts, fitting, tacking, and welding with precision. Fabricate and assemble custom sheet metal products using 14-16 gauge materials. Operate fabrication equipment including press brakes, shears, rollers, saws, and grinders. Take accurate measurements and ensure quality workmanship throughout the fabrication process. Support team production efforts in a fast-paced, job shop environment where every project is unique. Maintain a safe, organized work area while meeting production schedules and quality standards.What We're Looking For:
2+ years of MIG welding experience in a custom fabrication or manufacturing environment. Strong experience working with thin-gauge sheet metal. Ability to read blueprints and perform layouts independently. Excellent tape measure and material measurement skills. A dependable team player willing to work overtime as needed.Schedule:
1stShift:
Monday-Friday, starting at 5:00 AM Current production demands require 11-12 hour shifts , with frequent overtime extending the day to approximately 4:30 PM-5:30 PM . Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
