Job Description
Hiring Experienced and Entry-Level Welders Near You $21.79/hour Weekly Pay! 2nd and 3rd Shift Join our welding department where you will primarily engage in MIG welding of stainless and galvanized materials. You will be responsible for building parts for assembly and aftermarket components, while also utilizing your expertise in reading and understanding fabrication drawings. A solid understanding of Lean Principles and 5S is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on stainless and galvanized materials. Build parts for assembly and aftermarket components. Read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately. Apply knowledge of Lean Principles and 5S in daily tasks. Essential Skills Proficiency in welding, specifically MIG welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Competence in using measuring tools. Experience with lathe machine operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing shop environment is preferred. Trade school graduates will be considered. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a dynamic manufacturing facility with high noise levels, requiring hearing protection. The environment is indoors, but with large bay doors open, exposure to weather elements like cold in winter and heat in summer is expected. Housekeeping is performed per shift, but the environment can be dirty. Steel toe or composite toe boots are required, along with PPE including ear plugs, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, arm shields, welding jacket, and helmet, which are provided by the company. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
