Job Title:
Welder Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Welder with expertise in MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding techniques. We are seeking a skilled professional who can deliver high-quality welding work, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders to determine proper welding methods and sequence. Set up and perform MIG welding using arc and gas welding equipment. Lay out, measure, and mark materials using shop math and layout techniques. Inspect components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications. Perform rework and adjustments as needed. Use hand tools and power tools to trim, grind, sand, deburr, and finish surfaces. Operate equipment within assigned work area (cell). Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment. Record daily time accurately. Follow all safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures. Support production system initiatives and participate in continuous improvement efforts. Cross-train and assist in other work areas based on production needs. Assist in training new or current team members. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding. Experience in fabrication. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Structural welding knowledge. High School Diploma/GED.

Work Environment Our work environment is a fast-paced, performance-driven manufacturing and production setting that is not climate-controlled. We require employees to adhere to a dress code of plain-colored t-shirts (blue or gray preferred), jeans, and steel-toe boots. The position is on the 2nd shift, from 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime expectations after the shift and some Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Daleville, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.09 - $25.09/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
