MIG Welder - 1st, 2nd & Weekend Shifts $23-$30/Hour | Career Growth Opportunities Join a Growing Fabrication & Manufacturing Team Are you an experienced MIG Welder looking for a long-term opportunity with a company that values quality craftsmanship and professional growth? We are seeking skilled welders to join our expanding team on 1st, 2nd, and Weekend shifts . Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and production specifications. Read and interpret welding symbols, weld callouts, and fabrication requirements. Determine proper weld positions, techniques, and settings to complete projects accurately and efficiently. Weld mild steel and stainless steel materials ranging from 7-gauge to 1/4-inch thickness. Inspect finished welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. Read and interpret detailed fabrication and welding blueprints. Assist with cutting, staging, organizing, and preparing materials for fabrication and production. Support additional fabrication processes including grinding, machine operation, insulation cutting, and finishing work. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Collaborate with team members and provide support across fabrication departments as needed. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience . Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Knowledge of welding symbols and fabrication specifications. Working knowledge of shop math. Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment. Ability to produce high-quality welds on both mild steel and stainless steel. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship standards. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-oriented environment. Why Join Us? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apple Valley, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
