Job Description
Mig Welder $20 - $22hr :
Shift:
1st Urgent Hiring!! Job Description This role focuses on performing high-quality welding and fabrication work on concrete batching equipment and related components. You will interpret blueprints and specifications, set up and execute welds in multiple positions, and contribute to the production of durable, high-performance equipment in an industrial weld shop environment. Responsibilities PerformFCAW & GMAW
welding with minimal supervision. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Fabricate, modify, and repair equipment/components. Set up work using templates and fixtures. Operate welding, cutting, grinding, and hand tools. Use forklifts, cranes, and hoists safely. Inspect and finish welds to quality standards. Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment. Enter production data and update ERP systems. Follow quality, safety, and housekeeping standards. Support team activities and continuous improvement. Complete welding certifications as required. Essential Skills Strong FCAW (Flux Core) and GMAW (MIG) welding experience. Ability to weld in multiple positions. Blueprint and fabrication drawing reading skills. Experience with weld shop tools and equipment. AWS 4G welding qualification preferred/required. Knowledge of quality inspection and weld finishing. Forklift, crane, and rigging operation experience. Basic computer and ERP data entry skills. Strong safety awareness and teamwork. Ability to work independently with high quality standards. Additional Qualifications Experience in heavy equipment or industrial fabrication. Production MIG welding experience. Fitting/fabrication experience. Willingness to complete welding tests/certifications. Adaptable and willing to cross-train. Strong attention to detail and quality focus. Why Join Us? Regular use of forklifts, cranes, and hoists. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunnyvale, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
