HR Duties:
Perform welding and fabrication work in a job shop manufacturing environment. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written work instructions to complete projects accurately. Measure, cut, grind, fit, and prepare materials for welding and assembly. Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components. Fabricate parts and assemblies to meet customer and production specifications. Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity, dimensional accuracy, and high-quality appearance. Operate welding, grinding, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures. Work independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of welding and metal fabrication experience preferred. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. Experience measuring, laying out, cutting, fitting, and fabricating metal components. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce quality welds that are both structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing. Knowledge of fabrication tools, welding equipment, and metalworking processes. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Manufacturing, Metal Fabrication, or Welding degree/certification is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to use hands continuously for welding, grinding, fitting, and assembly tasks. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required in a manufacturing environment.
