Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Baldwin, WI. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, fabricating metal components, metal finishing and assembling finished products. We also do custom metal roofing with copper and galvanized sheet metal. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform high end metal finishing (including grinding, sanding, and prep work for paint/powder coat
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
  • Use various tools and equipment to cut, shape, and bend metal
  • Operate machinery such as shears, press brakes, lasers, and welding equipment
  • Measure and mark dimensions using calipers, rulers, and other measuring instruments
  • Assemble fabricated metal parts to create finished products at a high standard
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Perform basic math calculations to determine measurements and quantities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role or education
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Proficient in using tools such as shears, press brakes, welding equipment, etc.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery
  • Ability to operate a forklift is preferred but not required
  • Soldering skills & sheet metal roofing experience are a plus We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, have good manual dexterity, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
