Job Description Position Title:
Skilled-TIG welderWage:
$26.00- $30.
Shift:
1stHours:
Mon-Thurs 5:00 AM- 3:30 PM Head to work with joy and purpose?
Responsibilities:
- Weld stainless steel and aluminum sheets to produce tanks in various positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
- Identify equipment, material, or operational issues and report them to leadership.
- Clamp, hold, tack weld, heat bend, bolt, and grind materials to meet technical specifications.
- Operate welding equipment and perform welding processes including:
- Control fitting, burning, and welding processes to minimize distortion, overheating, expansion, and shrinkage.
- Examine completed welds and finished products to ensure specifications are met.
- Prepare and set up welding tools and equipment for production.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Follow workflow processes and standard work instructions.
- Troubleshoot issues and communicate effectively with team members.
- Contribute ideas for process and workflow improvements.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements for Skilled-TIG welder:
- 2+ years of experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
- MIG welding experience required.
- TIG welding experience required.
- Stainless steel welding experience required.
- Aluminum welding experience is a plus.
- Fabrication experience is a plus.
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use hand tools, grinders, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
