LaserForm is looking for welders to join our fabrication team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing quality work, and can work independently without needing someone standing over them. TIG welding is a major part of this position, with MIG welding also required. If you have solid TIG experience and are comfortable reading blueprints and welding symbols, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Perform primarily TIG and MIG welding using a variety of welding equipment Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to determine proper assembly and welding methods Use tape measures, grinders, hand tools, and other specialty equipment Inspect completed assemblies and components to ensure they meet specifications Troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues as they arise Work with a variety of materials and part configurations Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for shop equipment Follow LaserForm's quality and safety procedures Work with other departments and assist coworkers as needed What We're Looking For Qualified candidates should have: 3-5 years of welding experience preferred Previous TIG welding experience MIG welding experience Ability to confidently read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols Ability to accurately use a tape measure Strong understanding of welding and mechanical techniques High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to troubleshoot problems and make adjustments when needed Ability to work independently with minimal direction Basic computer skills High school diploma required; technical degree or welding education is a plus Physical Requirements This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring the ability to: Stand and work on your feet for extended periods Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and walk throughout the workday Regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs. Occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs. Visually inspect parts and read drawings/instructions Why LaserForm? At LaserForm, you won't be doing the exact same weld on the same part all day. 00/hour based on experience and demonstrated welding ability. Important This is primarily a TIG welding position. Candidates must have previous TIG welding experience to be considered.
