Job Description

Job Title:
Welder/Fabricator Job Summary:
We are seeking full time and/or part time reliable, competent, motivated, and skilled Welders/Fabricators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications. The Welder/Fabricator must possess expertise in assembling, working with metals 1/8" to 1.5", operating GMAW/Mig welding equipment, using hand power tools, and operating ironworker and/or drill press type machines.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret shop drawings to understand project requirements
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures using techniques such as welding, bolting, drilling, and punching
  • Measure with tools such as a tape measure, measuring and reading down to 1/16
  • Utilize power tools for plasma cutting, grinding, and shaping metal pieces
  • Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator or similar role
  • Proficient in working with metal and various welding techniques
  • Familiarity with O.H. cranes, and jib cranes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
REQUIRED
: Minimum three years of welding experience in a manufacturing (or similar) environment High school diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation to/from work Punctual, accountable, and responsible Resume Starting wage dependent upon experience.
