Job Description
Welder About the Position We are seeking an experienced Welder to join a leading industrial manufacturing team. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating large, complex components used in industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint-reading skills, attention to detail, and experience working with multiple welding processes. Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and/or pulse welding on carbon steel and other metals. Weld and fabricate large industrial components and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings . Set up welding machines and select the appropriate settings for each application. Perform fit-up, tack welding, and final welding according to specifications. Use hand tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment. Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and proper penetration. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Follow company quality standards and safety procedures. Work closely with fitters, fabricators, assemblers, and other production team members. Qualifications Previous welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment . Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. Strong understanding of welding processes and equipment. Experience welding carbon steel and heavy-gauge materials is preferred. Ability to perform quality welds while maintaining production requirements. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
