this client is specifically seeking candidates with at least 4 years of Active Duty U.S. military experience • Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a 3rd Shift Welder, based out of their Fall River WI facility. Boasting a state of the art manufacturing plant, with customers expanding across the MidWest, this company is growing fast and offers substantial opportunity for career advancement.
PRIOR WELDING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Compensation:
$22.78-29.50/hour (+ 20% shift premium)
Shift:
3rd (Monday-Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:00 am)
What You Will Do:
Will use GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to effectively weld weldments, tanks, and metal parts together per the weld process specification sheet. Perform welding on a wide variety of metals and alloys, including carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Independently use hand layouts for weldments based on blueprints or specifications, with little to no supervision required. Use fixtures, gauges, and jigs to manufacture welded parts to customer specifications. Assist with creating work instructions. Complete the first piece, in process, and final inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and tape measures. Pressure test fuel tanks and hydro test glycol tanks. Analyze weld processes and recommend process improvements. Education and Work Experience At least 4 years US Military Active Duty experience required Prior Welding experience required ; must be able to successfully read and understand American and European blueprints, geometrical call outs, and weld symbols.
