Job Description

Job Summary $3,500 Sign-On Bonus - Half paid upon start, with the remaining balance issued after successful completion of six months of employment. The Fabrication A role plays a key part in supporting daily fabrication operations to ensure production schedules are met while maintaining a safe, professional, and team-focused environment. This position is responsible for welding, finishing, and operating assigned equipment in accordance with supervisory direction, manufacturing work instructions, and job breakdowns. Responsibilities may vary based on production requirements. Primary Responsibilities Perform TIG welding and finishing on stainless steel and other specified materials Operate Kuhlmeyer grinding and polishing equipment, including automatic, semi-automatic, and manual machines Select, load, and adjust machine programs required to produce specific parts Complete equipment and workstation setup at the start of each shift, including gathering fixtures and tooling Inspect completed parts using visual checks and measuring tools to verify quality and dimensional accuracy Conduct routine preventative maintenance on assigned equipment Support training of team members on fabrication processes and equipment operation Assist with the development and refinement of standard work instructions Maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas in accordance with facility standards Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership Pre-Employment Requirements Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check following a conditional offer. All testing will be conducted in compliance with applicable federal and state laws. Qualifications Experience and Skills Required Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 10 hours per shift Capability to perform repetitive and varied physical movements including lifting, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, twisting, climbing, and fine motor tasks Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Proven TIG welding experience Strong reliability and adherence to attendance expectations Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and precision Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with machine software Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring instruments Solid numerical skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Masis Staffing is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
