We can also work with 4 tens, but we will be on overtime for the foreseeable future. Having a strong fabrication background is a key. We do not have only welders, all employees build from prints and need to be able to be confident in their fabrication skills. Thanks 1st shift welder/fabricator
  • This position requires the ability to read and understand blue prints and a solid back round on the mig welding process of mild steel and stainless.
2 years experience in a metals shop is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate that has a good work history. This position requires the applicant to have their own basic welding tools and hood. Welders in this position will weld and fabricate their own projects, we have no ability to hire in someone who only wants to weld, fabrication is a requirement of the job.
Duties:
Client is seeking reliable, motivated, experienced heavy metal MIG welder/fabricators.
  • They will perform multi pass welds on 1
  • 3" plate as well as 1/8 to 1/4 inch duct work. The more they have the better. Please let me know what they have, if they are light in one area that should not rule them out.
  • Fit up experience is a plus.
  • Everything is cut and formed for them.
  • Work from Prints
  • Must have common sense and a good work ethic.
  • Solid work history and great attitude are a must
  • Not looking for Ship Yard welders. Look for Job Shop/OEM.
  • The more years under their belt the better.
The less experience in the ship yards the better.
