Welder would be responsible for the set up and operation of a robot or manual machine, to perform one more function on steel and aluminum products.

Job Responsibilities:

Utilize fixtures and tooling to properly assemble and gage parts. Apply competencies in manual welding to weld parts. Apply competencies in welding and utilize robotic software to operate the robotic machine. Review program specifications to determine and set machine operations and sequencing. Set up future jobs while the robot is operating. Load and unload material manually or with hoists or cranes, depending on weight and size. Inspects all manufactured products for quality standards. Troubleshoot issues with welding equipment. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the weld shop.

Skills/Qualifications:

six months to 1 year of welding experience. TIG welding experience is a plus, ability to read blueprints/specifications. Attention to detail and quality control is key in this role
