Welder Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools used in metal fabrication processes
• Perform MIG, TIG, robotic and other welding operations as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and welding specifications
• Determine appropriate welding methods, materials and equipment for each project
• Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, flux and related welding components
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding by removing rust, scale, slag, grease, moisture and other contaminants
• Position and secure workpieces using hoists, cranes, wire, banding machines and hand tools
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow company safety procedures and safe welding practices
• Assist with production and fabrication activities as needed Requirements for

Welder:

• At least one year of welding experience
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and/or robotic welding processes
• Ability to safely operate welding equipment and maintain safe work habits
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy and fabrication processes
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to accurately measure and inspect finished products
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
