Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic shop service team. Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding/Stick Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards. Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal, metal materials, and other components using plasma cutters, power tools, hand tools, and machining equipment. Fabricate metal structures by welding, grinding, fitting, and finishing parts according to project specifications. Mechanical work on Industrial Forklifts and Material Handling Equipment Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and handling tools and materials responsibly. Inspect completed welds for quality assurance using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments; ensure all work meets AWS standards. Experience Strong knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding. Mechanical Experience is preferred, as the position requires knowledge of electrical, Hydraulic and Fuel Systems Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise fabrication. Hands-on experience with Plasma Cutting, Machining, Holepunch, Bending Brake, sheet metal fabrication, and the use of power tools is a definite plus!
