Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding operations according to blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Prepare materials for welding by measuring, fitting, and positioning components. Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards. Identify and correct welding defects as needed. Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining productivity goals. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on welding equipment. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Previous welding experience preferred; recent welding graduates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to use measuring tools and verify weld quality. Commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required. Welding certification or technical training is a plus.
