JARP Industries Inc is seeking a Welder to join our custom hydraulic manufacturing team in Onalaska, WI. You will fabricate, fit, and weld steel components for hydraulic cylinders and related assemblies using MIG, TIG, and flux-core processes. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up fixtures, performing quality welds to tight tolerances, and inspecting work to meet customer and safety standards. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and production staff in a clean, team-oriented environment focused on craftsmanship, problem solving, and long-term customer relationships. Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding on hydraulic cylinder components and related assemblies Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and production drawings to set up and complete jobs accurately Fit, align, and clamp parts using fixtures, jigs, and hand tools to maintain tight tolerances Inspect welds for quality, dimensions, and defects; rework as needed to meet standards Operate grinders and other finishing tools to prepare and finish welded assemblies Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use and safe handling of equipment and materials Collaborate with engineers and production teammates to resolve fabrication issues and improve processes Maintain welding equipment, workstations, and tools in clean, organized condition Document work as required for quality and production records Support continuous improvement, 5 S, and lean manufacturing initiatives on the shop floor Required Skills MIG welding TIG welding Flux-core welding Blueprint reading Fabrication and fitting Use of welding fixtures and jigs Weld inspection and measurement Grinding and finishing Basic machining/metalworking Safety procedures and PPE compliance
