Job Description

Harter's Fox Valley Disposal is seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder Fabricator to join our team. As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal structures, machinery, and components to ensure the production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Perform welding, fabricating, and assembly of metal structures on containers and refuse bodies and components based on known specifications. Set up and operate various welding machines, such as MIG, TIG, Stick, or other types as required. Measure and cut materials to meet required dimensions. Inspect and assess welded materials for quality and integrity. Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in good working condition. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve issues and improve equipment. Adhere to safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator or similar role. Proficient in MIG, TIG, Stick welding, and other welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Knowledge of metal fabrication tools and equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., AWS, MIG/TIG certification). Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
Preferred Skills:
Welding certification (e.g., Certified Welder, Certified Welding Inspector). Knowledge of welding safety protocols and guidelines.

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
