STL Staffing is hiring a Welder in Waukesha to bring blueprints to life through precise, high-quality welds. You'll work hands-on with structural welds, operate heavy equipment, and work closely with your team to hit production goals. What you'll do Perform welding tasks safely, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Interpret welding instructions and blueprints to complete projects to spec. Apply Flux Core welding as your primary process, along with Metal Core, GMAW, and Sub Arc as needed. Set up and adjust welding machines, including wire speed and voltage settings. Inspect and verify weld quality for precision and consistency. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move and position materials safely. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. What we're looking for Required 2+ years of welding experience, with hands-on Flux Core welding required and structural welds preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay active throughout the workday. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork. Preferred High school diploma or equivalent.
