Your Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on mild steel components, electric or robotic welding equipment in the fabrication of parts, to be used in the assembly of product lines to create a high quality finished product. Components may be standardized or customized as to design and function. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to meet project specifications. Inspect, measure, and test completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in excellent working condition. Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency. Support cross-functional production needs and train new team members. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
What We're Looking For:
Experience :
2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (preferred).
Education/Certifications :
High School diploma or equivalent, welding certification or working towards apprenticeship or certification is a plus.
Skills :
Understanding of welding fundamentals, basic knowledge of Mig Welding Equipment, ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Physical Ability :
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying conditions. Attention to
Detail :
Precision and accuracy in every weld.
Team Player :
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Assessment & Weld Test :

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Temperatures can vary from cool to warm depending upon the season. The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies.
