Job Description

Black Rock Mine Service, LLC, a trusted leader in mining support services, is seeking dedicated Welding Professionals to join our team in Gillette, WY. With over a decade of expertise in fabrication, machining, and heavy equipment repairs, we're at the forefront of keeping the mining industry running smoothly and safely. We are currently accepting job applications and resumes to fill welder/millwright position.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG and Stick welding
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Perform welding and mechanical maintenance on electric shovels and draglines.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years welding or mechanical experience in the mining industry, or a 2 year welding degree from a technical school.
  • Must possess a strong commitment to safety of themselves and others
  • Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Ability to work at heights and/or in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to read blue prints
  • Ability to pass an
FCAW 3G/4G 1
" plate test
  • Experience with field machining / line boring.
  • Current MSHA certification Shift differential pay available.
Pay:
$24.00
  • $44.
00 per hour
