Marine Concepts Track System Service & Installation Technician

Position Summary The Marine Service & Installation Technician is responsible for on-site installation, service, troubleshooting, and repair of custom boat cover systems at customer docks, marinas, and dealerships. This role represents Marine Concepts directly in the field and plays a critical role in customer satisfaction and final product quality. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, professional with customers, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Install custom boat cover systems on customer boats and docks Perform service calls, adjustments, repairs, and warranty work Troubleshoot fitment, hardware, and installation concerns in the field Safely operate tools and equipment required for installation and repair Communicate professionally with customers, marinas, and dealers Verify installation quality, fit, and overall customer satisfaction Document service work, issues, photos, and completion notes accurately Coordinate with production, service management, and scheduling teams Assist with loading, unloading, and transportation of materials and covers Maintain clean, organized company vehicles, tools, and work areas Follow Marine Concepts safety and workmanship standards at all times Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience preferred Marine, construction, service, or installation experience is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Ability to problem solve and adapt in the field Comfortable working on docks, around water, and on boats Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred Ability to lift and maneuver 50+ lbs Preferred Skills Experience with boats, marinas, or marine equipment Basic electrical and hand tool knowledge Trailer towing experience Ability to read measurements and installation drawings Experience working directly with customers What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for overtime and travel work Growth opportunities within a rapidly growing company Hands-on work in the marine industry Team-oriented culture focused on quality and customer satisfaction Training and development opportunities
