Marine Technician/ Mechanic

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team full‑time or part‑time. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with marine engines, rigging, and troubleshooting — but we are open to training the right mechanically inclined individual. This role involves working on outboards, inboard/outboards, personal watercraft, and marine electronics in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment. Key Responsibilities Rig new engines, controls, gauges, and marine electronics Install and service trolling motors and related accessories Diagnose and repair outboards, inboard/outboards, and PWC across multiple brands Perform routine maintenance and seasonal services Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and fuel‑system issues Complete preventive maintenance on company equipment Assist with snow plowing and snow removal during winter months Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Communicate clearly with customers and team members Qualifications Previous marine technician or rigging experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow technical manuals Experience with outboards, I/O systems, or PWC is a plus Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions Valid driver's license required Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
