About The Role:

The Crowd is excited to be partnering with a highly respected, design-led studio recognized for shaping impactful public realms, urban environments, and large-scale landscape architecture projects across the globe. With a collaborative culture and an impressive portfolio spanning civic, mixed-use, hospitality, and international developments, this award-winning practice is now seeking a Marketing Manager to join its Bay Area studio. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and creative marketing professional with experience supporting proposals, business development, and communications initiatives within the architecture, landscape architecture, planning, or broader design industry. This is a full-time position based in the firm's waterfront studio, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on high-profile pursuits, presentations, and strategic initiatives in a fast-paced yet supportive environment. Strong writing, graphic, and project coordination skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across teams. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation and coordination of compelling RFQ/RFP responses, proposals, presentations, and interview materials across a wide variety of project types and sectors Develop and maintain marketing collateral including project sheets, resumes, portfolios, award submissions, and other studio materials to ensure all content remains current and visually polished Collaborate closely with studio leadership and firmwide marketing teams on business development initiatives, communications efforts, and strategic positioning for new opportunities Research prospective clients, project pursuits, and industry trends while supporting outreach, pre-positioning, and relationship-building efforts Manage multiple concurrent deadlines and priorities across local and international pursuits while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality control

Key Skills/Requirements:

3+ years of marketing, proposals, or business development experience within architecture, landscape architecture, planning, engineering, or a related design-focused industry Strong graphic and written communication skills, with advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment while remaining highly organized and detail-oriented Confident communicator with the ability to work independently while partnering effectively with senior leadership, consultants, and cross-functional teams Genuine interest in design, urban environments, landscape architecture, and the creative industries, with a proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving To apply for this position please click on the apply button to attach your resume (and portfolio for design positions).
