JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Support Specialist has strong organizational and communication skills to support the efforts of the Marketing Department relating to events and merchandising. This position coordinates conventions for the Messenger Sales Team for their regional and national shows. Along with events, this role supports the product sample needs for the Sales Team and customer merchandising.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates all activities and event planning related to regional and national conventions. Manages and creates personalized product samples for conventions, customers and sales representatives. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the Messenger product line and jobbed products. Develops strong relationships with the Sales Team members and is comfortable communicating consistently throughout the day via phone and email. Maintains and distributes a series of reports. Assists with coordination of direct mail, social media, and adding content to online platforms. Maintains knowledge of Messenger personalization software and Microsoft applications. Working knowledge of Messenger internal systems such as Customer Service interface, our CRM SAGE, and Knowledgebase Library. Other duties as assigned.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening. Strong computer skills. Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to collect, assess, and act on information in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines. Strong sense of urgency and accuracy. Team-oriented mindset; dependable, conscientious and accountable. Flexible and adaptable; able to work additional or varied hours as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing 0-2 years of relevant experience in an administrative, marketing or support role Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
WORKING CONDITIONS
Clean climate-controlled environment Day Shift Ability to sit at a desk for the majority of the workday
