Job Description

Maternity Cover contract for a leading personal care brand in NYC. Opportunity to lead the global demand planning process. About Our Client Our client is a well-recognized personal care brand based in New York City. The team are in the midtown office 3 time per week. Job Description Lead the global demand planning process across North America and International markets, partnering with channel and regional leads to review and align forecasts. Own and continuously improve demand forecasts at the category, SKU, channel, and regional level. Manage 2 direct reports and the wider Demand Planning division. Partner closely with Supply Planning to translate demand forecasts into actionable supply requirements and proactively identify potential risks, constraints, and opportunities. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to support new product launches, sampling programs, promotional activity, and other key business initiatives. Drive improvements in forecasting processes, tools, reporting, and data integrity to increase forecast accuracy and planning efficiency. Serve as a key liaison between Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment around demand assumptions and business priorities. The Successful Applicant A successful Director of Demand Planning should have: Significant experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, or a related function, ideally within a fast-paced consumer products environment. Strong hands-on SAP experience required, with the ability to work effectively within SAP-based demand and supply planning processes. Strong experience with AI driven demand planning tools Proven experience owning and managing complex demand forecasts across multiple SKUs, channels, and/or regions. Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting methodologies, inventory implications, and
S&OP/IBP
processes. Excellent stakeholder management and partnership skills. People management experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams. What's on Offer 4-6 month contract to start ASAP. Hybrid working in New York City. Competitive hourly pay dependent on experience.
