Responsibilities:
How will you make an impact? Responsibilities The Program Manager - Flight Operations SMS Promotion is responsible for training, communication, and other actions to create a positive safety culture within the pilot workforce. Manager activites include SMS training, advocating/strengething a positive safety culture, system and safety communication and awareness, and disseminating safety lessons learned. Manager participates in company safety working groups and industry safety summits and conferences. Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the day-to-day line operations and have the ability to maintain aircraft qualifications
Qualifications:
Who are we looking for? Requirements The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and the ability to prioritize work and projects in order to meet deadlines and objectives Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated Minimum age of 18 College degree in a technical field or equivalent amount of airline experience Comprehensive knowledge of all FAA rules/regulations Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language Possess the legal right to work in the United States Technical writing experience preferred Previous managerial experience preferred Airline Transport Pilot Certificate preferred Airline operations experience preferred Please note: The description is intended to provide a brief overview of the position.
