The incumbent is responsible for the following: Plans, formules, and justifies the agency's budget and oversees the expenditure of alloced funds and accure allocion of budgeted costs between programs and business areas. Develops, establishes, and maintains systemic procedures for tactical and stregic planning for the USPTO. Coordines the development of the agency's long-range stregies and organizional performance plans th ultimely support budget development. Serves as the primary reporting point for all stistical analyses th measure USPTO progress against established performance goals and progress in achieving sted budgetary and program goals. Conducts research and econometric studies and prepares reled workload, fees, and fee income forecasts.
