We're looking for an experienced, creative, and strategic Assistant Vice President - Marketing Officer to lead our marketing initiatives, champion the customer experience, and develop a high-performing team that brings our brand to life. This is a Full-time (On-Site) position, and will be based out of our main office in Laconia - in the heart of New Hampshire's Lakes Region. What You'll Do As our AVP - Marketing Officer , you'll play a key role in shaping how customers experience our brand across every touchpoint. You'll oversee marketing initiatives from concept to execution while coaching a talented team and collaborating across the organization to drive growth, engagement, and customer loyalty. In this role, you will: Lead and mentor the Marketing team, fostering collaboration, creativity, accountability, and professional growth. Manage marketing projects and campaigns from planning through execution, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery. Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop compelling campaigns and brand experiences. Drive customer-focused marketing strategies by analyzing feedback, identifying opportunities, and improving the customer journey. Oversee creative development for advertising, branded content, digital communications, promotions, events, and community engagement. Coordinate internal communications to keep employees informed of marketing initiatives, promotions, and product updates. Create engaging content for the website, newsletters, annual reports, and other marketing materials. Measure campaign performance, evaluate ROI, and recommend improvements based on data and customer insights. Ensure all marketing materials meet brand standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance guidelines. Support vendor management, audits, and other departmental initiatives. Serve as a trusted partner across the organization, helping strengthen our brand while delivering exceptional customer experiences. What You Bring We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Management, or a related field. Prior supervisory/management experience leading, managing and developing a small marketing team. Experience working in a customer experience, marketing, communications, or a related role. Strong understanding of customer engagement strategies across digital and traditional channels. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong copywriting abilities. Outstanding organizational, project management, and time management skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure marketing effectiveness and campaign ROI. A collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization. A creative problem solver who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution. Willingness to travel as needed to support company events and community initiatives.
