Contract-to-Hire (3 to 6 month contract, with opportunity for full-time on mutual fit)
Location:
Remote (United States), with periodic travel to Salt Lake City, Utah About Us CytoGenesis backs the inventors, entrepreneurs, and established businesses whose ideas improve or streamline humanity. We develop what is early, acquire what is established, and provide the capital and infrastructure to execute. Ideas rarely fail because they are bad. They fail because the relationships, infrastructure, operational systems, and capital required to bring those ideas to life do not exist. CytoGenesis disrupts that outcome. The Role This is the first seat CytoGenesis has dedicated to brand, marketing, or creative. You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and own how each of our companies is understood by the market it serves. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Brand and positioning: Own the identity, voice, and creative standard for every company in our portfolio. Define how each company and its products or services are positioned, and hold that positioning consistent as we grow.
Websites and ecommerce:
Set the standard for each company's website and online store, including how products are shown, found, and measured. Direct the developers and platform vendors who build and maintain them, and build directly where building is faster than briefing.
Product and sales materials:
Produce the materials that present each company's products to customers, partners, and prospective investors, each accurate to the product and its approved claims.
Video and social:
Direct video from concept to final delivery. Build and grow each company's social presence on a consistent publishing schedule, engaging production partners where the work calls for them.
Go-to-market:
Lead the marketing and creative behind each launch, and continue to build the brand in the period that follows. Direct potential email, lifecycle, and paid programs that support it, and hold them to clear targets. The First 90 Days Learn each company, its products or services, its market, and its regulatory requirements. Review all existing materials and websites, meet the leadership and subject-matter experts who guide compliance, and identify the highest-priority work. Establish brand and creative standards, begin producing priority materials, and put the proper resources and systems in place to execute at pace. Deliver your first completed materials, with a clear plan and cadence for the companies and products that follow. Required Qualifications 4+ years of professional experience in brand, marketing, creative, or design work. A portfolio that demonstrates the range and quality of what you produce, submitted with your application. Hands-on proficiency across design, web, and content creation, with the ability to produce professional work independently rather than only directing others. Experience directing and managing external designers, developers, agencies, or production resources. Experience taking brands, products, or companies to market and growing their presence over time. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a founding or first marketing hire, or as the sole marketing and creative resource within a company, building the function from an early stage. Experience marketing products or companies in healthcare, life sciences, regenerative medicine, food safety, pharmaceuticals, software, or other related industries. Familiarity with marketing regulated or claims-sensitive products, including FDA promotional and labeling standards, FTC truth-in-advertising and substantiation requirements, and the internal review processes that govern how such products can be described and advertised. Proficiency with a modern creative and web toolset, and established, dependable AI-assisted workflows. Key Competencies Judgment with

Communication:
Excellent written and visual communication, and the ability to work closely with leadership and the subject-matter experts who guide compliance.
