The Communications Manager is a strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure, and meeting deadlines. This position will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, the Communications Manager is innovative, organized, and self-motivated with a keen interest in driving strategic messages to key internal and external role-players.CORE COMPETENCIES

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement marketing and communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation Research and create content for the company website, social media platforms, newsletters, and other company publications Maintain a detailed knowledge of the company's policies, principles, and strategies, and keep up-to-date with relevant developments Manage the company's style guide, and ensure all company documents and publications adhere to our branding Work with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company's strategy and in support of various brand initiatives Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team Performs incidental tasks related to the position as well as various duties, as assigned, to support the overall objectives/goals of the team while maintaining a positive attitudeREQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, or related field, or equivalent experience Five (5) years of communications strategy development Content writing for all media platforms Excellent written and verbal communication skills Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines Must be proficient with MS Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, 365, and SharePoint Ability to pass a background and drug screening Experience in Alaska Native Corporations and government contracting preferredOUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
