We are looking for a Internal Communications Manager to support internal communications across all SJE divisions and locations. The Job The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering clear, engaging, and timely internal communications that support organizational priorities, leadership messaging, employee engagement, and culture-building initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure employees are informed, connected, and aligned with SJE's goals, values, and change initiatives. You will create high-quality content for internal audiences, manage communication channels, and maintain a consistent brand voice across the organization. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in communications, employer brand, public relations, recruitment marketing, or a related field are required. What You'll Do Internal Communication Strategy and Execution Develop and execute internal communication plans that support company goals, organizational changes, Value Creation Plan initiatives, the Proud to Be SJE culture campaign, company town halls, and leadership priorities. Plan, write, edit, and distribute internal communications, including announcements, presentations, videos, scripts, intranet updates, company news, celebration stories, and leadership messages. Maintain a consistent tone, voice, and brand alignment across internal communications. Translate complex information into clear, easy-to-understand messages for broad employee audiences. Partner with HR, Operations, Marketing, and senior leaders to ensure communications are accurate, relevant, and timely. Support communication needs for major initiatives, including acquisitions, branding, culture initiatives, and organizational changes. Coordinate with external vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Communication Channel Management Manage and maintain internal communication platforms to ensure they are current, organized, and visually engaging. Monitor and evaluate communication effectiveness, using feedback and data to recommend improvements. Employee Engagement and Culture Support Partner with HR and Culture/Engagement teams to support internal campaigns, recognition programs, and culture initiatives. Create materials that strengthen employees' connection to SJE's purpose, vision, values, and strategic priorities. Support the planning and communication of employee events, committees, town halls, leadership meetings, and training programs. Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. What is the Paid Time Off and holiday policy? Up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in your first year, plus 8 paid holidays. What is the starting salary? The anticipated starting salary is $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience and location. What benefits do you offer?
