Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities Lead the overall Creator and Influencer strategy, roadmap, and operating model for Harbor Freight across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other video-first social platforms, ensuring Creator and Influencer partnerships support brand, product, customer, and business objectives. Build, manage, and continually refine a high-quality Creator and Influencer pipeline, identifying and vetting Creators and Influencers in tools, DIY, automotive, welding, woodworking, construction, home improvement, maker, outdoor power equipment, and related categories based on audience fit, content quality, engagement, authenticity, brand safety, and performance potential. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with Creators and their representatives, serving as the primary contact for outreach, onboarding, relationship management, campaign planning feedback, and ongoing partnership opportunities. Negotiate Creator partnerships, including rates, deliverables, content timelines, usage rights, exclusivity, whitelisting or paid amplification rights, revisions, reporting, and other commercial terms in partnership with Legal, Procurement, and Finance as appropriate. Plan and execute Creator campaigns from brief through launch and post-campaign analysis, including Creator and Influencer selection, product or sample coordination, creative briefs, content calendars, review processes, posting schedules, amplification plans, and performance reporting. Partner with Social Media, Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, E-Commerce, Merchandising, Quality Assurance, Public Relations, Stores, Customer Insights, and external agencies to ensure Creator and Influencer content supports product launches, brand moments, campaigns, events, customer needs, and broader marketing priorities. Work directly with Instagram/Meta, TikTok, YouTube/Google, and other social media network partners to stay current on Creator sourcing tools, paid promotion opportunities, platform best practices, content trends, algorithm changes, measurement capabilities, and emerging formats. Build standards, playbooks, and processes for Creator and Influencer identification, outreach, evaluation, contracting, briefing, content review, disclosure, paid usage, reporting, and relationship management. Track, analyze, and communicate Creator and Influencer program performance, including reach, engagement, video views, traffic, conversion signals, content efficiency, audience sentiment, cost benchmarks, brand impact, and learnings for future campaigns. Monitor competitive Creator and Influencer activity and broader tool-industry social trends to identify whitespace opportunities, emerging voices, new content formats, and ways for Harbor Freight to show up credibly and distinctively.
