Qualifications Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Educational Leadership, Business Administration, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of direct, progressive professional experience and training.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in marketing, community engagement, or public relations resulting in growth of organization.
- At least 2-3 years of experience directly managing marketing/outreach teams, directing departmental operations, and managing external vendor or media budgets.
Certificates:
- Required to operate a vehicle in the performance of duties; operator must possess an appropriate valid California Driver's License and maintain possession of such license during the course of employment;
- Have an acceptable driving record;
- Must be insurable at standard rates by District's insurance carrier and maintain such insurability during the course of employment.
