Nicole is committed to lowering costs, fighting corruption, protecting democracy, and ensuring government promotes the general welfare and expands opportunity. The campaign rejects corporate PAC and AIPAC money and invites community members to join in building a future where every family can live with dignity, security, and hope. Role Description Interns with Nicole Locklin for U.S. Congress work directly alongside the Campaign Manager and core staff across all areas of modern political campaigning. We tailor internship tracks based on your strengths, career goals, and interests-offering real responsibility, mentorship, and resume-building experience in a fast-paced environment.

Tracks & Areas of Opportunity:
Field & Grassroots Mobilization:

Direct voter engagement, community canvassing, phone banking, and youth/student outreach across local college campuses and South Florida neighborhoods.

Communications & Digital Media:

Graphic design, video editing, social media strategy, drafting campaign updates, and digital content creation.

Campaign Operations & Logistics:

Supporting the Campaign Manager with event planning, volunteer coordination, scheduling, and database management.

Policy & Research:

Conducting local issue research, tracking community feedback, and assisting with policy briefing materials.

Schedule:

Flexible options for Part-Time or Full-Time (10 to 40 hours/week) to accommodate class schedules or work commitments.

Compensation:

Unpaid. We actively support students seeking academic credit and provide top-performing interns with direct letters of recommendation and references from campaign leadership.

Location:

Campaign office located at 1808 N. University Dr., Pembroke Pines, FL, 33024 (with optional field/event opportunities across District 26). Qualifications Interest in public service, political campaigns, youth engagement, or progressive policy issues in South Florida. Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate as part of a mission-driven team. Ability to manage tasks reliably and follow campaign messaging guidelines. Basic familiarity with digital tools, social media, or data entry is a plus. Openness to learning different facets of political organizing and campaign management.
