Corporate Engagement Intern Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Corporate Communications team at Arthrex global headquarters in Naples, FL is responsible for various communications and employee engagement campaigns. The team is seeking an intern, preferably in their senior year, studying Communications and/or Public Relations, to learn about the various aspects of corporate communications with a focus on corporate engagement. The intern should be a strong communicator, tech savvy, and a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™. This internship will run from January 2027 - April 2027. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work at least 20 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.
Main Objective:
To learn about the various aspects of corporate communications with a focus on community, university and employee engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating various community engagement efforts including campus tours, educational programs/seminars and speaking engagements. Manage the Employee Event Ticket Distribution and Employee Years of Service Traveling Flag Programs. Support communications through promoting Corporate Engagement initiatives. Collaborate with Florida Gulf Coast University to support the planning of the Medical Device Industry courses. Assist with ad hoc events including Arthrex Educational Seminars and Employee Networking. Support various marketing projects and tasks, as needed, including team surveys and meeting coordination.
Education and Experience:
Progress towards a college degree required, preferably in Communications or Public Relations. A college senior preferred. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.) Strong communication and customer service skills required. Excellent time management and project organization skills required. Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or
Training:
Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction. Machine, Tools, and/or
Equipment Skills:
PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
