Full-Time, In-Person About Impact Mouthguards Impact Mouthguards is a fast-growing sports brand built for athletes who demand more from their gear. We create premium custom and ready-to-fit mouthguards for athletes across boxing, MMA, football, hockey, lacrosse, wrestling, and other sports. We're looking for someone who understands social media at a high level and wants to take ownership of growing the Impact brand. This is not just a posting position . We want someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling, knows how to turn ideas into great content, is comfortable filming and editing, understands trends and social platforms, and can help turn attention into customers. The Role As our Social Media & Content Manager, you will own Impact's day-to-day social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms . You'll work directly with our team, athletes, creators, products, and partnerships to consistently create content that makes Impact feel like one of the most exciting brands in sports. You'll have access to something most social media managers don't: a real production facility, hundreds of unique products, athlete partnerships, product launches, combat sports events, behind-the-scenes manufacturing, and an endless supply of content opportunities. Your job is to turn all of that into content people actually want to watch. What You'll Own Content Creation Develop, film, edit, and publish short-form video content Create TikToks, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Stories, and social posts Film athletes, employees, products, production processes, events, and behind-the-scenes moments Develop strong hooks, concepts, scripts, and recurring content series Turn one filming session into multiple pieces of usable content Create content around new product and collection launches Capture both polished brand content and authentic phone-shot content Repurpose successful content across platforms Social Media Strategy Own and manage Impact's social media calendar Develop a consistent posting strategy across platforms Identify trends early and determine how Impact can participate without feeling forced Develop new content formats and series Study competitors and leading sports, lifestyle, and consumer brands Continuously test new hooks, formats, topics, and creative styles Help define and evolve Impact's voice on social media Community Engage with comments, athletes, gyms, creators, and customers Identify opportunities for Impact to join relevant conversations Build relationships with our audience rather than simply publishing content Help make Impact's social accounts feel like a personality, not a corporate feed Athletes, Creators & Affiliates Identify creators and athletes who fit the Impact brand Help recruit and manage TikTok Shop affiliates Develop creator briefs and content concepts Coordinate product seeding Follow up with creators to ensure content gets produced Identify high-performing creators and build deeper relationships with them Repurpose creator content across organic and paid channels Product Launches & Campaigns Build social plans around new mouthguard collections, collaborations, partnerships, events, and promotions Create pre-launch hype instead of simply announcing products on launch day Develop launch-day content Maintain momentum after launches Work with the team to turn major Impact moments into larger social campaigns What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is obsessed with social media and content . You should naturally notice why certain videos perform, why some hooks work, why people share certain posts, and why certain brands feel culturally relevant.
You should be someone who:
Understands TikTok and Instagram extremely well Has experience creating short-form video Can confidently film and edit content Understands hooks, retention, storytelling, and pacing Has a strong eye for creative and branding Is comfortable appearing on camera when needed Can direct other people on camera Understands internet culture and trends Moves quickly and doesn't overthink content Can generate ideas without constantly being told what to make Is organized enough to manage a content calendar and multiple projects Understands that great social media is equal parts creativity and experimentation Actually cares about performance and results Experience in sports, fitness, boxing, MMA, football, hockey, lacrosse, streetwear, or action sports is a major plus. Tools & Skills That Are a Plus Experience with any of the following is valuable: CapCut Adobe Premiere Pro Photoshop Canva TikTok Shop Meta Business Suite YouTube Social analytics tools Influencer/creator management platforms Basic photography Paid social creative AI creative tools You don't need to be an expert in every tool. We're much more interested in whether you can consistently produce great content and great ideas . How We'll Measure Success This role isn't measured by simply checking a box that says we posted today. We'll look at: Organic reach and views Engagement Follower growth Video watch time and retention Number of high-performing pieces of content Website traffic from social TikTok Shop revenue Creator and affiliate growth Volume of quality content produced Revenue influenced by organic social Overall growth of the Impact brand The Person Who Will Crush This Role You're probably constantly saving TikToks and Reels because you have an idea for how a brand could recreate them. You understand that sometimes a 15-second iPhone video will outperform something that took three days to produce. You aren't afraid to try 10 ideas knowing eight might flop. You're comfortable walking into our production room, seeing something interesting happening, pulling out your phone, and turning it into a piece of content. You want to build something—not just manage an account. Most importantly, you want to help turn Impact Mouthguards into one of the most recognizable brands in sports.
