We are looking for an experienced, well-connected Outreach Coordinator to join our growing outpatient behavioral health and substance abuse treatment program in Chamblee, Georgia . This is not a traditional entry-level marketing position . We are looking for someone who already knows the local healthcare, behavioral health, and substance abuse treatment community and has established professional relationships and referral connections throughout the Atlanta area . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing referral relationships and will be comfortable getting out into the community, meeting with referral sources, and creating new opportunities for our program. What You'll Do Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective referral sources throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area Leverage established professional relationships within the behavioral health, substance abuse, healthcare, and community services sectors Conduct regular in-person visits with referral sources and community partners Build relationships with hospitals, detox and residential treatment programs, therapists, psychiatrists, physicians, private practices, case managers, social workers, EAPs, attorneys, community organizations, and other appropriate referral partners Introduce referral sources to our outpatient programs, services, admission process, and treatment philosophy Identify and pursue new referral opportunities Represent our organization at networking events, professional meetings, conferences, community events, and other outreach opportunities Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with referral partners Collaborate closely with Admissions and Clinical leadership to ensure a smooth referral experience Track outreach activity, referral relationships, and results Monitor the local behavioral health market and identify opportunities for growth Provide leadership with feedback regarding referral trends, community needs, competitors, and potential partnerships What We're Looking For We are specifically looking for someone who already has relationships in the Atlanta behavioral health and substance abuse community.

The ideal candidate will:

Have established professional connections throughout the Atlanta behavioral health and/or healthcare community Be familiar with treatment providers and referral networks in the Chamblee, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Buckhead, Atlanta, and surrounding areas Understand how behavioral health and substance abuse referrals move through the local healthcare system Have a proven history of successful community outreach, business development, or referral development Be comfortable making face-to-face visits and developing relationships with referral sources Be outgoing, confident, professional, and highly self-motivated Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills Be able to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the internal team Understand the importance of confidentiality, HIPAA, and ethical referral practices Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, healthcare outreach, business development, admissions, or a related field Established Atlanta-area referral relationships strongly preferred Existing relationships with hospitals, treatment providers, therapists, physicians, mental health professionals, or other behavioral health referral sources highly desirable Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Ability to travel throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area on a regular basis Strong organizational and follow-through skills Experience using CRM or referral-tracking systems preferred This Position Is For You If...
