Job Summary The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for an Associate Director of Enrollment Management Marketing & Communications. The Associate Director of Enrollment Management Marketing & Communications serves as a strategic communications lead for enrollment management, designing and managing communication experiences that move prospective students from awareness to enrollment. Working closely with the Director of Enrollment Management Marketing & Communications, this position develops audience strategies, communication journeys, CRM campaigns and integrated recruitment marketing initiatives that advance institutional enrollment goals. The Associate Director leads the planning, execution, and continuous optimization of prospective student communications across email, CRM, digital marketing, web, social media, print and emerging channels. This role ensures communications are audience-centered, data-informed, aligned with the university's brand and strategic narrative and coordinated across Enrollment Management and Strategic Communications & Marketing. As a key strategic partner, the Associate Director collaborates with campus stakeholders to create consistent, high-performing recruitment communications that strengthen prospective student engagement, increase application and enrollment conversion and support the University's long-term enrollment strategy. This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) and holds the responsibility of serving as a mandatory reporter for all Clery Act crimes. Responsibilities Lead the strategy, design, implementation and continuous improvement of communication journeys supporting recruitment. Develop audience segmentation strategies and lifecycle communications that deliver personalized, timely, and relevant messaging throughout the prospective student experience. Design communications that reduce uncertainty, build confidence, reinforce institutional value and guide students toward enrollment. Develop and manage integrated recruitment marketing campaigns across CRM, email, digital advertising, social media, web, print and emerging communication channels. Ensure campaign messaging is aligned with enrollment priorities, institutional brand standards and the university's strategic narrative while coordinating communications across Enrollment Management and Strategic Communications & Marketing. Develop, manage and continuously optimize Slate communication journeys supporting recruitment. Monitor campaign performance, engagement, conversion, deliverability and user behavior to improve communication effectiveness through ongoing testing, analysis and optimization. Utilize data and performance insights to recommend improvements that strengthen recruitment outcomes and increase enrollment conversion. Provide strategic oversight for recruitment messaging across websites, publications, email communications, social media, digital advertising and recruitment materials. Partner with content creators, designers and enrollment stakeholders to ensure communications remain accurate, audience-centered, accessible, consistent and aligned with university brand standards. Serve as a primary communications partner for Enrollment Management, collaborating with Strategic Communications & Marketing, Information Technology, academic colleges and external partners. Provide messaging guidance, communication planning, editorial oversight and strategic consultation to ensure coordinated recruitment communications across the institution. Contribute to university committees and cross-functional initiatives supporting enrollment growth and institutional priorities. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work without supervision, multi-task, manage workload and meet deadlines. Must also maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with both internal and external constituents. Ability to work without supervision and lift at least 25 pounds. Capable of coordinating and launching large scale projects a must. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Driver's license Four (4) years of higher education marketing and communications experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required. Preferred Qualifications Masters preferred. Banner student database and Slate communication relationship management (Slate CRM) experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Adobe In Design/Photoshop/Illustrator experience preferred.
