You'll lead our physical and digital marketing efforts to support agency growth. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN OUR COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Bachelor's degree in a field such as English, marketing, or communications 3+ years of professional communications or marketing experience Solid knowledge of print and digital marketing channels, including various social media platforms Understanding of different audiences and how to adjust content to maximize success Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong understanding of grammar, language, and proactive writing styles Sharp attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Proficiency with computers and technology Familiarity with the communities within our service area Ability to ensure all activities include our core values, which are Respect, Teamwork, Mission-Driven, and Commitment Ability to adapt to changing priorities and remain composed during tense situations Ability to maintain confidentiality, proactively solve problems, and apply common sense in your day-to-day
COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER DAY-TO-DAY

Working under the direction of our CFO, you'll be responsible for shaping our marketing efforts, executing new community outreach strategies, and creating/strengthening partnerships. You'll collaborate with leadership to improve our communication strategies and ensure marketing efforts align with our organizational goals and procedures. Your efforts will help ensure more people hear about our agency, attract new fundraising sources, and increase interest in volunteer opportunities or support services. Creativity and strategic thinking will be crucial, as you'll be developing engaging content that appeals to diverse audiences, community leaders, elected officials, and opinion leaders while ensuring messages are clearly communicated and delivered. You'll stay up to date with marketing trends and follow the best practices to maintain messaging innovation, versatility, and strategy. We're highly goal-driven and mission-oriented, and your content will match this tone across all print, online, and social media channels. Staying organized, you'll manage our content calendars, preemptively brainstorm ideas, and oversee the design and production of print and digital marketing materials. You'll set short- and long-term goals, proactively seek out potential outreach opportunities, and help with budget planning/maintenance. Additionally, you'll oversee the marketing associate and event coordinator to ensure they're playing their part in efficient operations and effective strategies!
