THE TYPE OF DONOR RELATIONS SPECIALIST WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, communications, or related field Strong interpersonal, engagement, and public speaking skills Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Familiarity with JOURNEYS' service area communities Ability to meet deadlines and budget goals with a positive attitude Technological competency and willingness to learn new platforms Flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays Commitment to core values: Respect, Teamwork, Mission-Driven, Commitment Adaptability, initiative, composure under pressure, sound judgment, confidentiality, and strong communication skills are a plus!
WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR DONOR RELATIONS SPECIALIST
This is a full-time position with a choice of schedule: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM or 10:00 AM-6:00 PM . In this role, you'll spend your days building meaningful connections-crafting donor experiences that inspire generosity and deepen commitment to our mission. You'll design creative engagement strategies, personally steward supporters, and lead innovative fundraising and friend-raising campaigns that expand our reach. From developing relationships to sharing impactful stories, you'll serve as a bridge between our donors and the lives they help change.
